Window blinds for garden rooms are certainly a popular option when it comes to providing privacy and sun shading. Whichever type you opt for, window blinds can and are often an integral part of the building’s design.
Why window blinds for garden rooms?
They offer privacy and shading when needed as well as internal blinds, being set between the glass, need no cleaning. Combined with the correct glass, it can be easy to control your garden room interior environment and for very low costs too.
Kingdom Glass
Our Kingdom glass includes a very clever Low Emissivity coating that provides an A+ Rating for insulation but has another benefit too. It offers an excellent ‘G Value’. This is the rate of Free solar heat gain which we gain from direct sunlight.
In the same way, as a Thermos flask operates, our Kingdom glass allows free heat in from the sun and traps it. This works perfectly for low heating costs, whilst our blinds used collectively or individually can reflect heat away as you seek to avoid the building overheating.
A great example is this recently built Kingdom Room building.
Andy recently visited this customer after a chilly and frosty morning start to be welcomed by these customer comments. ‘The sun warmed the building so I only had the heater on for a short period and left it off for the rest of the day. As the warmth of the sun increased, I simply dropped the blinds to create a comfortable working temperature’.
Kingdom Rooms also offer glasses for enhanced sound insulation and security.
